Love art? Like making things? Come and join our after school art adventures at SECCA!

Explore exhibitions in the gallery, then head into the Project Space to make your own art inspired by what you’ve seen. Over the 8-week program, you will experiment with different materials, learn new techniques and create original artworks you can be proud of. You’ll get to think creatively, solve problems and express your own ideas – while hanging out with new friends who love art too.

The program culminates in an end of term exhibition, where family and friends are invited to celebrate students’ work. All materials are provided, just bring your imagination.

Each week the program is facilitated by one of three experienced art educators – with tertiary qualifications in creative arts and also artists in their own right – Özlem Güler, Jessica Martin and Angela Tarlinton.

Bookings essential as numbers are limited.

$210 per child + booking fee. Creative Kids vouchers accepted

Art classes: Thursday 7 May – Thursday 18 June, 3.45pm – 5pm (7 weeks)

End of program exhibition launch: Thursday 25 June, on show in the SECCA Project Space until Saturday 27 June
