About the Bega Streetlight Festival

From 5.00pm on Friday 25 September, enjoy an unforgettable evening of spectacular light projections, live music, interactive art, delicious local food, family-friendly entertainment and late-night shopping as the heart of Bega transforms into a vibrant celebration of community.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural festival, the 2026 event promises even more to discover, with new light installations, local artists, creative workshops, market stalls, street performances and entertainment for all ages. Wander through illuminated streets, meet local makers, enjoy performances throughout the evening and experience Bega like never before.

Whether you’re visiting for the weekend or you’re a local looking for a great night out, the Bega Streetlight Festival is an event not to be missed. For full program visit at Bega Streetlight Festival website here.

The Bega Streetlight Festival is a collaboration between Bega Valley Shire Council, Bega Chamber of Commerce, and South East Arts, funded by the NSW Government’s Open Streets Program, led by Transport for NSW.
