About the Bega Streetlight Festival

The heart of the Bega Valley will come alive on Friday 24 October 2025 between 5pm-10pm, as the Bega Streetlight Festival transforms the town into a dazzling celebration of art, food, music lights, and community. This FREE, family-friendly event invites locals and visitors alike to experience Bega in a whole new light – literally. The main street will be closed to traffic and illuminated with vibrant light installations, and creative projections, creating an unforgettable evening atmosphere. Festival-goers can enjoy live music from talented local and regional performers, roving entertainers, pop-up food stalls showcasing the best of the Far South Coast, and interactive art experiences for all ages. The Bega Streetlight Festival is a collaboration between Bega Valley Shire Council, Bega Chamber of Commerce, and South East Arts, funded by the NSW Government’s Open Streets Program, led by Transport for NSW.
