Create & Sip : Pinch Pots with Sierra McManus and Phoebe Turner

When
16 — 16 Jan 2025

Where

SECCA

JUST ANNOUNCED!

Join SECCA for an after-hours workshop with ceramic artists Sierra McManus and Phoebe Turner.

Participants are invited to get lost in hand building with clay, let time and pressures fall away as the vessel absorbs it all. Your finished pots will be glazed, fired and made available for pick up from SECCA.

Sierra McManus and Phoebe Turner exclusively hand build their functional and sculptural ceramic pieces. Sierra comes from a background in painting and has taught and exhibited her ceramic work locally and nationally. Pinching elaborately sensual forms, Phoebe was recently selected to complete a residency with Kil.n.it experimental ceramic studios in Sydney.

Including a complimentary signature cocktail on arrival courtesy of North of Eden Gin, arrive anytime from 6pm to explore the current exhibition The Shirley Hannan National Portrait Award 2024.

SECCA’s Summer Open Late program keeps culture humming into the after hours. Come along after work, meet your friends, see free art films, and share the art experience with new creative skills workshops. Every second Thursday this summer at SECCA.

Numbers are limited!

Suitable for adults.

Thursday 16 January, 6.15pm – 8pm, $75 per person
(complimentary drink on arrival courtesy of North of Eden Gin Distillery).
