Join SECCA for this month’s Open Late workshop with local artist Gabrielle McGrath of Red Peg Eco Studios.

Every first Thursday of the month, SECCA’s Open Late program keeps culture humming into the after hours. Come along after work, meet your friends, and share the art experience with a drink before heading to one of Bega’s restaurants for the evening.

Arrive anytime from 6pm to explore the current exhibitions, enjoy a drink on arrival and learn new creative skills with a local artist.

In this ‘Create & Sip’ workshop participants will learn how to stamp and texture your own pair of copper or brass* earrings with traditional jewelry making tools. Sterling silver hooks will be provided to complete your wearable art.

An optional additional set of sterling silver earring plates** are available for an additional cost of $30 per participant to create a second set of earrings during the workshop.

Thursday 7th March, 6 – 8 pm, $50 per person

*Note: participants will have the choice between copper or brass plates for the main earring making activity. Two metal plates in this base metal are provided measuring 5x5cm each.

**Note: For the optional sterling silver upgrade, participants will be provided an extra sterling silver plate measuring 5x5cm along with a second set of silver hooks. This will make a smaller second set of earrings.
