Looking for fun, enriching, and creative activities for the kids these upcoming school holidays? Check out our range of two-hour workshops led by experienced art educators.

Marble Paper Coastlines, ages 5 – 8
Monday 14 July, 10am – 12pm    BOOKED OUT – join the waiting list
After touring and taking inspiration from the exhibition Among Other Entanglements, children will experiment with using watercolour paint, dye and foam to create marble paper, and will then arrange cut out shapes into coastline collages.

Imaginary Playground Sculptures, ages 5 – 8
Monday 14 July, 1pm – 3pm      BOOKED OUT – join the waiting list
Spark your imagination by designing and creating a mixed media sculpture of a playground. Children will explore shape, colour, texture, and balance and use a range of materials to assemble their very own playground artwork.

Still “has” Life, ages 9 – 12
Wednesday 16 July, 10am – 12pm
Using a mix of found and recycled objects as inspiration participants will explore colour, texture and composition while experimenting with oil pastels, watercolours and posca pens to create a unique still life artwork.

Zine my Scene, ages 9 – 12
Wednesday 16 July, 1pm – 3pm
Inspired by the work and activism of Bonita Ely, create an eight-page zine about a place, scene or issue that is important to you!
