Join SECCA’s friendly art educators for an exciting journey into the world of Japanese ‘kawaii’ style!

 

Kawaii art is a style developed in Japan looking at all things ‘cute, charming and adorable. This type of art uses simple shapes like hearts and stars to create cute instant characters with emotion and humor. Children will experiment with a range of drawing and mixed media materials to explore the wonderful variety of approaches in Kawaii to create their own cute characters.

Open to all skill levels. All materials provided.

$25 per child, Creative Kids vouchers accepted.

An afternoon workshop is also available with full lunchtime supervision provided at no extra cost. For children staying for the full day we will be taking our lunch at Littleton Gardens (directly opposite the gallery) so please bring a hat, nut free lunch and drink bottle. Bookings for morning and afternoon workshops need to be made separately.
